Beautiful interiors don't just complete architecture — they shape the way we feel every single day.
The Art of Living
Interior design at MIKI Architecture is about more than furniture and finishes. It's about creating environments that reflect who you are, how you live, and what you love. Every texture, every beam of light, every carefully chosen piece is part of a larger narrative — your narrative.
Featured Interior
Designed for a family that loves to gather, this home in Addis Ababa blends warm timber, soft linens, and handcrafted ceramics. The living area opens to a garden courtyard, while the dining space is anchored by a bespoke table that seats twelve — because here, every meal is a celebration.
Our Interior Philosophy
"A well-designed interior should feel like a quiet exhale — calm, collected, and completely personal."
We believe that interiors are the soul of architecture. They should be functional yet poetic, edited yet warm, modern yet timeless. Every material, color, and object is selected to create a sense of harmony and belonging.

Lighting & Atmosphere
Light transforms space. We design with the sun's path — from gentle morning rays that wake you softly, to the warm glow of evening that invites relaxation. Layered lighting, natural shadows, and carefully positioned windows create interiors that feel alive throughout the day.

Spaces That Tell Stories
Designed for a young family in Bishoftu, this kitchen is where homework happens at the island, bread rises on the counter, and Sunday mornings linger. Warm oak, handmade tiles, and a window facing the garden make it the heart of the home.
In Hawassa, we created a retreat that feels both luxurious and grounded. Local stone, woven textiles, and a private terrace overlooking the lake remind guests where they are — and invite them to stay a little longer.
Client Reflections
"Our home finally feels like us. Every corner tells a story, and every room makes us happy."
— Meron & Dawit, Addis Ababa
"MIKI transformed our restaurant into a destination. Guests don't just come for the food — they come for the atmosphere."
— Lelise K., Restaurateur
